Rare pair of 19th-century carved ceremonial armchairs, the profusely carved backs with flower heads and scrolling leaf decoration to the lift-up seat retaining the original locks. Flanked by crisply carved peacock arms. Above further decorative carving depicting elephants. All raised on bun feet. Dimensions Height 52.5 Inches height to seat 17.5 Inches Width 32 Inches Depth 23 Inches
