Regency Mahogany Armchair, England circa 1815

About the Item

A fine Regency Mahogany Armchair In the classical style of Thomas Hope. Of tub shape with scrolling upholstered back , with a curved front seat. Pair of columns to the front arms. The top carved with classical horizontal palmettes, above columns with gadrooning and acanthus leaves. Gadrooned tapering legs with original castors. Covered in watts fabric. English Circa 1815
