About the Item
Architect: Willem Hendrik Gispen
Armchair model Fn 24
This iconic Bauhaus armchair comes from Czechoslovakia from the first half of the 20th century. It was manufactured by Mücke-Melder and bears the catalog number Fn24. The armchair features a tubular chrome steel frame and is upholstered in very high-quality genuine Italian leather.
This is a professionally restored original piece. The chrome has been professionally cleaned, and the new upholstery has been crafted according to original traditional methods. The armrests are finished with a piano polyurethane lacquer to a 100% high gloss. This highly popular armchair type was also produced in similar designs by other significant Czechoslovak companies, such as Gottwald as type Ek 34 and Slezák as type K 29.
According to the original process, our professional refurbishing team in Czechia has restored and reupholstered the item.
The chrome parts have been cleaned and professionally restored.
This Bauhaus armchair is ideal for those seeking a design icon with a rich history and premium comfort. It will be a striking and timeless element of any interior.
This item features classic Bauhaus design elements. Elements of this style are neutral colors and occasional bright primary colors. Bauhaus designers avoided the fussy and pretentious, looking for clean, modern lines. Perfect for a timeless yet modern look.
