Set of Two Arm Chairs with Sheep Leather by Hendrik Wouda, the Netherlands 1930s

About the Item

Set of arm chairs by the furniture designer Hendrik Wouda. The seats are reupholstered with sheep leather. Wouda designed these chairs and they were produced by Pander & Zn. in The Netherlands made between 1930 and 1933. These chairs are also in the collection of the Centraal Museum. Hendrik Gerben Wouda was a Dutch architect and furniture designer. After his training in Rotterdam at the Academy of Visual Arts and Technical Sciences and in The Hague at the Academy of Visual Arts, Wouda worked from 1910-1912 at the desk of H.P. Berlage in Amsterdam. Measures: Height 106, width 66, seat height 48, seat depth 48 cm.
