    A lovely late 17th century Spanish walnut and leather armchair, retaining its original leather seat and back, held by worn gilt brass studs. The back of the chair has two finely carved scroll acanthus finials above two broad arms, which are supported by carved balusters that run through into square front legs, these are joined by a high and heavily carved stretcher with two shaped stretchers joining the front and back legs at either side. Great patina to the wood and leather. In very good condition. The dimensions are: Height: 114cm (44.9in) Width: 64.5cm (25.4in) Depth: 53.5cm (21.1in) In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age.
