Stunning Pair of large 19th Century French Carved Walnut Reupholstered Armchairs
About the Item
A great quality pair of antique 19th century French walnut carved and reupholstered armchairs in the Louis XVI style. Having high padded upholstered back and seat, joined to carved lion head arms below barley twist supports and barley twist stretcher base rising on bulb feet. Very comfortable seating. The pair of chairs have recently been professionally reupholstered. A rather pleasing example.
The dimensions are:

Width: 73cm (28.7in)
Depth: 80cm (31.5in)
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. The seat and back have recently been professionally reupholstered and remain in good, clean condition. The antique carved armchairs remains structurally sound. Overall, a good example.
