About the Item
A contemporary piece with the soul of the 1960s. Designed by Ola Szewczul for Vintola Studio, this chair blends elegance, nobility, and everyday comfort. It was created for interiors where refined form meets functionality.
Springy, very comfortable, and perfectly stable, it can serve as both a dining or accent chair. Handcrafted since 2024 at the Vintola Studio factory in Poland.

About the fabric:
DEMOISELLE - Casamance (back):
Inspired by the scales of the damselfish, which lives in coral reefs, the collection features a sumptuous range of fabrics designed for seating. Their soft and velvety textures comes from the piece-dyed long-pile chenille.
NIMBUS - Casamance (seat):
“Nimbus” is a double-sided velvet jacquard with a viscose pile. Its weave adds texture and depth creating a 3D finish. The subtle shadowing is created with a weft yarn which accentuates the cloud-like pattern. Just like the sky, the fabric becomes a moving landscape, a changing surface over which the light slides. Each cloud has a trace of depth, a hollow shadow, a hovering light. Nimbus comes in five colors : beige, powder-pink, anthracite, tan, khaki.
All options of fabrics and wood colors are possible to prepare.
Change of dimensions are also possible.

The very particular chair has an elegant and aggressive shape; Pierre Guariche is a legendary French designer from the 20th century. He gave a personal and innovative touch to design by combining aestheticism and mass production. As a visionary designer, he knew how to create pieces of furniture with a functionalist approach and an aesthetic dimension. He really wanted to meet the needs of the times by using methods of the series production. His creations became mythic pieces such as the Tonneau chair (1953 and 1954), the Tulip chair (1953), and the President's desk (1961).
