Brazilian Luggage Bench, 1970s

About the Item

This is a luggage bench made of Caviuna wood. The heartwood of Caviuna wood is chocolate to brownish in color with brown stripes along the grain. In addition, the wood is heavy and hard, making it difficult to process, and the wood is characterized by a dense and beautiful finish. Although this bench is simple, it uses plenty of Caviuna wood, allowing you to feel the rich texture of the wood. [Fabric] Made of suede-like fabric, it has an elegant luster and smooth mousse. Scratches are less noticeable, and the short bristles make it easy to care for. The fabric and filling are reupholstered in Japan.
