19th Century English Georgian Oak Box Settle Bench

Rustic 19th century English Georgian box settle or hall bench. Crafted from oak featuring a paneled back. The large storage box has two small storage drawers on the front left with iron pulls. The seat has a hinged lid that opens to the large storage space. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a weathered, aged distressed patina on the oak. Very heavy and solid with a Classic English profile. From an estate in Santa Barbara, CA.
