There is a carved guilloche pattern on the seat frame and carved rosettes above fluted, round caps, ending in tapered and fluted legs. Chalky Gustavian-white paint finish. Dimensions: Bench I (back): 18.25 in. H x 59 in. W x 21 in. D Bench II (front): 18.75 in. H x 60.25 in. W x 21 in. D The Gustavian style, named after King Gustav III of Sweden, is a restrained interpretation of the French Louis XV and Louis XVI style. King Gustav III was enamored with the neoclassical style and therefore created his own interpretation for Sweden.
