About the Item
This sculptural bench is a striking composition of two integrated parallelepipeds, designed to evoke the image of an object and its shadow. It is crafted from two distinct materials: a solid, squared block of scented cedarwood is seamlessly joined with a part made of folded metal sheets lacquered in a light grey finish. The union of these contrasting textures and tones creates a truly modern and unique piece. Any cracks or changes in the wood over time are considered natural and add to the bench's character.

To protect and maintain the volcano cedar finish follow the instructions provided with the maintenance kit. Apply natural scented oils or waxes every six months using the provided wax. After waxing, avoid placing cushions or sitting on the surface with light-colored clothing, as friction may cause slight color transfer. Promptly dab any spills with absorbent paper—do not rub. Hot liquids and strong detergents may permanently damage the surface. Dispose of wax-covered clothes following the maintenance kit instructions.
Solid cedar wood naturally expands, contracts, and forms cracks or splits over time. These are expected and do not qualify as defects. The Vulcano finish process may cause additional cracks, revealing pale yellow tones of untreated cedar beneath. This is a normal reaction and does not affect the wood’s integrity. Cracks or indentations can be touched up using the special brush and black color included in the maintenance kit.
This product is NOT intended for outdoor use. Exposure to outdoor elements may lead to significant cracking, fading, and damage, which will not be considered grounds for complaints or claims. The natural characteristics of solid cedar and the Vulcano finish process are inherent to the product and should be expected.
