Antique 17th C. English Renaissance Carved Oak and Wrought Iron Bench Banquette

About the Item

17th Century English Renaissance Carved Oak and Wrought Iron Bench Banquette. Item features deep relief hand-carved back and legs which terminate at claw like front feet. The base is supported by a hand-wrought iron stretcher in a scrolling motif. Piece shows very nice age and patina to the wood and iron. Circa 17th Century. Measurements: 36" H x 56" W x 22.5" D x 18.5" Seat Height.

Repaired. Wear consistent with age and use. Older repairs to the wood in various locations which adds remarkable, old world charm. Very good usable antique condition being structurally sound with age appropriate signs of normal use as pictured. Overall very nice.
