This elegant bench would be ideal as a window seat, at the foot of a bed or at a dressing table or even a piano. The ends are double-caned with the caning in original condition and applied with acanthus swags. It is raised on turned fluted tapering legs. The high points are gilt and the paint colour is an olive green.
