About the Item

Antique “Lifetime” Small Window Seat, Stickley Era This is an antique Arts and Crafts Lifetime window seat or bench in good condition. Made out of quarter sawn oak and is unmarked. The leather is period BUT NOT original. STURDY and STRONG and ready for use in your home or office. SALE SALE Dimensions: Height 18 in Width 30 in Depth 17 in *** CONDITION: We do not deal in "Estate Condition" or "As Is" pieces. Unless there is an issue/concern/defect noted in the description, the buyer can be assured that there are none. Many times furniture pieces sold in "Auction" circumstances have problems, such as weakness in the structure, replaced parts, poor repairs, amateur glue or finish work, or veneer lifting/missing. We do not deal in "Flea Market" type items. RESTORATION: When Restoration is needed, we employ an experienced restoration technician and/or a professional artist. Traditional methods and materials are utilized to remedy any concerns. Hide glue was used during construction of furniture in the early 1900s. Such glue deteriorates over time, often creating a need for reworking in order for furniture to continue to be sturdy and strong. Furniture not properly restored does not honor the piece, nor protect the financial investment made by the buyer. SHIPPING & HANDLING: Our items are packed with extreme care by on-site staff, using sturdy containers and excessive fill. We work hard trying to ensure that shipped items reach our customers without damage. We will ship this piece either directly to your home (in Northeast US) or via freight. It will then be delivered to a freight terminal near you where you must then pick it up. Unless the piece is delivered directly to your home, it must be picked up at the freight terminal. We will send you contact information for the terminal, along with documents showing the tracking number.
