The Swan Sofa Was Designed By Arne Jacobsen In 1958 And Manufactured By Fritz Hansen. Copenhagen, Denmark. The Swan Sofa is a unique and sought after piece for any mid century aficionado. This piece is in excellent condition and in the rare black fabric. No fading or blemishes and in excellent condition.
An iconic name in the Nordic design world, Fritz Hansen is an internationally celebrated interior design brand with a wide range of furniture, lighting, and accessories. Since its founding in Copenhagen in 1872, Fritz Hansen has shaped Danish design as we know it, collaborating with visionaries including Arne Jacobsen, Poul Kjærholm, and Hans J. Wegner. In its first 50 years, Fritz Hansen designed furniture for the Danish Parliament and Supreme Court at Christiansburg Palace, the University Library, and Copenhagen City Hall.
