About the Item

Golden oak Arts and Crafts small hall seat with lift up storage compartment. England - Circa 1900. Inlaid with Dutch figures to the front. A central Yin Yang cut out decoration to the back. Made in solid oak, the seat has been refinished, and is in very good condition. It retains some authentic marks and knocks to highlight its genuine heritage. There are some differences in colour. The underside has had some woodworm present, this appears old but has been fully treated with an injector woodwork treatment, and the holes filled. The holes are only present to the underside, and thus not on show. Delivery is INCLUDED in the price for all areas in MAINLAND England & Wales.
