Beautifully Drawn Pair of 18th Century Hepplewhite Period Mahogany Window Seats

About the Item

Raised on elegantly fluted, square tapering legs with carved acanthus paterae and block feet. The swept arms finished with show-wood on both front and back, the front side with finely carved mouldings and carved flower head capitals, c.1770.
