Incredible looking pair of black lacquered bentwood armchairs designed by the famous Austrian architect Josef Hoffmann, attributed to the renown company of Jacob & Josef Kohn Vienna. Josef Hoffmann was also the founding member of the world famous "Wiener Werkstaette". These artfully created bentwood club chairs from the early 20th century impress with their unique, timeless design and were all made out of fine beechwood. This fantastic, early 20th century Art Nouveau armchairs/ club chairs carry the typical handwriting of Josef Hoffmann. An amazing pair of eye-catching bentwood chairs from the early Art Nouveau period in Austria attributed to the famous company of Jacob & Josef Kohn.
