About the Item

Substantial 19th Century ‘Country House’ elm hall bench. The arched back with angled panels and flanked with carved finials, above scroll arms with pierced carved trefoils and solid quatrefoils, solid seats and raised on carved slab end supports with chamfered corners. Well figured timber and good colour with matching patina. Also Available as a pair! Circa 1860. H: 96 cm (37 13/16") W: 127 cm (50") D: 56 cm (22 1/16")
