About the Item
Mobius, a collaboration with 3form, is made with their new material: "Dark Chroma", a dark crystal infilled acrylic that transmits color with more vibrancy than standard diffusers. The piece is an interactive bench that lights up as you touch it. Using vibration sensors, the light intensity and degradation rate is mapped from the raw data of the sensors, creating an amazing and unexpected effect.

Makingworks is a division of studio ai architects dedicated to sculpture, furniture, products and custom builds. Started with Louis Lim in 2011, Makingworks explore ideas through action. As its namesake suggests, during the physical process of making, works of art and design emerge. Yet, “works” are never complete, never static; they continually change through the way we use and live with them, through the memories and meanings we derive from them.
