The strong horizontal line created by the marble slab of this bench is accentuated by the cantilevered shelf which is separated from the seat by a vertical blade of glass. This seemingly impossible cantilever is achieved without any concealed fasteners and adds a sense of illusory to the Minimalist nature of the design.
