About
Creating a union of various pieces of furniture in a harmonic way. Mappamondo combines the function of a bench, containers for quick storage, of which one is removable and a standing lamp which is also a coat hanger.
In order to guarantee best functionality, Mappamondo was created with Led lighting with battery. A great advantage is that it can be placed anywhere without having to be near a light socket. Inspired by globes the motif (globe in Italian means mappamondo) was interpreted on the drawers and also on the upper part of the lamp.
Structure in brushed brass with elements in MDF and Metall with black lacquered polished finishes.

The label was founded by the designer Myriam Kuehne-Rauner in 2016 and can be visited in her Gallery in the heart of the trendy Milan District "Isola".
Filigree yet glamourous: Sophisticated material and colour combinations as well as illustration details, m2kr turns allusions into art deco. Her collection offers variety of uses as well as transformation of the objects, depending on the owner’s preference.
M2kr exclusively produces in Italy, in small manufactories and in cooperation with renowned craftsmen, thus masterfully blending contemporary design with tradition and quality. The objects are built to order within six to eight weeks.
