About the Item

Elegant Danish Empire bench made of mahogany with inlays of satin wood and ebony. Features a backrest with vertical spindles adorned with an ebony border and three Demi lunes with light wood inlays at the bottom of the backrest. Resting on four sets of saber legs. Upholstred with black stiped fabric. High-quality craftsmanship by Copenhagen Carpenters' Guild. Copenhagen, circa 1810
