About the Item

A beautiful Empire bench crafted from mahogany with gracefully curved legs. The end panels feature central inlays of walnut and light maple detailing. The seat has been newly upholstered in light linen. Denmark, 1810-1820. NB: One leg has a repair beneath the seat, which has been professionally and securely executed.
