English Late 19th Century Oak Bench With Caned Seat
About the Item
We always look out for these late 19th century English oak hall benches. This one is particularly lovely - good carving and the cane is secure.
Lovely warm colour on the wood and the strong cane compliments the oak nicely.
Place it in a hall or boot room - or at the end of a bed. Decorative and practical.
A classic British antique!
The cane is relatively new - very secure and quality craftsmanship. Caning is much more difficult that you might think!
