About the Item

This exceptional Swedish Gustavian sofa or settee has fluted carved details along slat back, sides and skirt, all raised on tapered fluted feet. Please enlarge and examine the close up photos to appreciate the light gray painted finish, distressed and worn to reveal the natural pine wood below adding an aged grace to the bench. Restored, this settee is solid, stable and ready to be used and enjoyed. The upholstered seat cushion, three back pillows and two bolster pillows are included. Vintage fabric appears to be a dusky rose, possibly raw silk. Seat Height: 20" All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this lovely Swedish bench.
