It has so much going for it that we immediately fell in love with it. All handcrafted out of solid tiger oak, it is as strong and stable as the day it was created all those years ago. And it is made exactly like it would have been in the mediëval Gothic era, both in style and workmanship. The supporting beams underneath and on either side of the seat are very similar to the beams that hold a Gothic church roof. The detailed, hand carved elements on both sides too are great Gothic features that make this bench a real joy to look at. The open design makes this antique bench extra attractive and spacious too. Apart from highly decorative this bench is absolutely ready to be used and enjoyed and it will easily take a grown-up of 200 pounds. That is how strong it is. This great looking and practical to use Gothic bench will look marvelous in an entry hall, but also on a landing or in a library this work of beauty will look the business.
