Fantastic, petite Louis XV style bench of figured walnut, newly reupholstered, made in Italy, circa 1920.
Delicate, hand-carved details follow the graceful lines of this versatile, charming bench. It has a slender and gently curved form with shapely cabriole legs ending in carved, scroll feet. It has been freshly reupholstered in a high quality, finely woven and neutrally toned cream linen blend fabric. Its small size makes it quite practical and offers many possibilities. Great in a bedroom, an entryway, a hall or in any room for extra seating. The work of a notably skilled craftsman, it is in very good and sturdy condition. Hand signed, "Made in Italy" on the underside.
