Large Bench in Solid Pine Wood by Danish Architects Friis & Moltke Nielsen, 1978

About the Item

Large solid Pine wood bench designed by Danish architects Knud Friis & Elmar Moltke Nielsen in 1978 and manufactured by Hirtshals Savvaerk. The design can be described as mild Danish Brutalism and has clean lines and is very functional. Both the design as the use of materials is related to the French designer Pierre Chapo. The bench is in good condition with some signs of use and ageing and can be disassembled to reduce transatlantic shipping cost.
