Maison Jansen Louis XV Style Giltwood Set Banquette and Two Benches

About the Item

Beautiful and rare gilt wood bench or day bed made in the Louis XV style which adds a lot of charm to a classical or ecclectical style ambiance living room or entrance in the classical French style. The very high quality and beauty of this work allow the banquette to be attributed to the celebrated Maison Jansen It is of superb quality and the frame is beautifully carved and finished identically on both sides do can be used as a free standing item. The seat is subtly shaped and has carved arm supports and cabriole legs. This beautifully worked giltwood banquette has been left “dans son jus”. Newly upholstered with a very high quality damask fabric. This bench, never before on the market, comes from an important European private collection. Every item of our Gallery, upon request, is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by Sabrina Egidi official Expert in Italian furniture for the Chamber of Commerce of Rome and for the Rome Civil Courts.
