About the Item

This elegant and well scaled Modernist Scroll Form Bench in Walnut With Silver Naturalist Upholstery originates from the United States during the latter half of the 20th Century. Featuring scroll form supports to either side of the seat, following lovely curvatures that connect with the legs and lower framing of the piece. Lined in a beautiful tone of silvered walnut, there is also exposed wood in a hand-rubbed finish providing an excellent value contrast and material warmth to the piece. Upholstered in a gorgeous silver fabric with a naturalist geometric motif, the textural detailing rewards longer viewing and appreciation. The saber style supports provide elegance and stability, making this piece a highly versatile and lovely bench. This piece will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. In Mint Restored Condition.
