This is an unusual form of neoclassical bench that dates to the early 19th century. The original painted surface has been retained and is richly patinated. The unique bench would had spark to any interior.

    Reupholstered. Wear consistent with age and use. The bench appears to retains its original painted surface which has acquired a deep natural and desirable patina. Minor loss to one finial.
