Pair of Biedermeier Style Maple Veneer Window Benches
About the Item
Handsome pair of Biedermeier style window bench seats or stools crafted from rich maple veneers. Late 19th century benches feature gracefully curved ends with decorative stretchers having a floral motif. Upholstered in the mid 20th century with a silk brocade fabric having a striped leaf motif. The veneer has a rich, dark finish and the benches have solid construction and joinery. Sold as a pair from an estate in the Napa Valley, CA.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with solid joinery. Age appropriate wear and fading with very minor chips and scuffs which are difficult to see. The fabric is vintage and presentable with small stains as seen in photos.
