Rustic Peg Leg Narrow Bench, Hungary Circa 1890

About the Item

The appeal of this rustic bench at just under 4' long comes from the thick hard wood top that originally served as a work table, resting on strong squared peg legs. Note the heavy gouges, nicks, old cracks, dried worm holes and stains that all combine to build the vintage character of this bench. The squared peg legs splay out slightly beyond the table top. Bench top depth: 14.25" Leg depth: 17" max (varies slightly) This bench has been restored and sanded so it is strong, stable and ready to use and enjoy. May also be used as a narrow coffee table.
