The Perforano bench is the evolution of the Catalano, one of the few pieces of Spanish design that have never been bettered and which can be expected to remain commercially viable. DETAILS The fundamental change consists in replacing the ‘deployé’ with perforated sheet steel. “We thus lose elasticity and use more material, but the seat gains a less aggressive texture and is much more resistant to corrosion and vandalism”. On the basis of this change in the material, the structure and the length of the module have also been modified, giving rise to a new handling of the aesthetic.
