About

The lovely, soft colors of the Gustavian period are well displayed in this exquisite bench. Where the new light gray painted finish is worn away, the darker natural wood comes through, enhancing the exceptionally carved apron and rails of this original mid-19th century antique sofa or bench. It has a traditional Swedish spindled back and sides, resting on eight gracefully tapered feet. The bench seat is newly upholstered in a vibrant blue and white floral fabric.
