Swedish Rococo White Painted Bench Settee, circa 1760-1780

About the Item

The gentle curves seen throughout this settee bench are reflective of Sweden's love of Rococo styling. Curved backs, cabriolet legs, wavy stretcher and carved details all combine for a romantic look to this chair back settee. The layered soft white painted finish with gray undertones is gently scraped and distressed, adding to the aged grace of this charming bench. Restored, it is strong, stable and ready to enjoy with simple linen upholstery. Seat Height: 19" Any scratches, visible cracks, dings, or age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this lovely settee. Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting may all impact how item is viewed.
