Swiss Design Bank Stühle, or Bench Chairs by Willy Guhl, Set of six, 1960s

About the Item

A set of of six “Bank Stühle”, or Bench Chairs by Willy Guhl (also known for the Loop Chairs for Eternit AG), produced during the 1960s in Switzerland. The name Bench Chair is derived from the idea that the these chairs can be placed alongside each other to form a continuous bench as can be seen in the images: We particularly like the use of a classic material such as a caned seating combined with the typical mid-century modern look of this period. The chairs are in very good condition, they have been cleaned and completely re-caned by a professional. Condition: Very good, signs of use as per images. Cane has been replaced.
