Artisan bench made to sit with crossed legs or sit in a squat position. This kind of seating was commonly made in the Brazilian countryside from the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th century. This piece has a beautiful patina, its exact date of creation is unknown as the author hasn't been identified, however, it is an important piece of Brazilian furniture history.
