This antique bench from Italy has a flattened backside, with a curved/bowed (half-oval shape) front design with a double break-front step out flanking its center before rounding onto the sides. The case houses a pair of raised-panel doors at front, with a slender drawer above, and a second drawer positioned below the doors. There is hidden storage within this bench- please ask us for details on this before purchasing. The platform base is nicely molded and sits securely to the ground. This vintage natural wood bench from Spain is adorn with Moorish influenced carvings, featuring a high back with undulating crest in a fan-carved motif with pierced center. The backside and seat are richly textured, with rectangular seat extending out beyond the curvy arms. This piece is raised on a pair of canted, trestle board style legs, with long solid legs at front and rear.
