About the Item
This elegant bench, or small chaise lounge, draws inspiration from Neoclassical and Grecian Klismos forms, updated with a touch of Hollywood Regency flair. It features distinctive, dramatically scrolled arms and curved legs with an intentionally distressed, antiqued white or crackle-wash finish, creating a charmingly weathered patina. The seating surface is upholstered in a rich, saturated cranberry or rust-colored textured fabric, providing a decadent contrast to the light, textured frame and emphasizing the scroll design.
This bench is a versatile accent piece, perfect for placing at the foot of a bed, under a window, or as a striking addition to a dressing room or large entryway. Its low profile and bold scrollwork offer sculptural interest and sophisticated color. The bench is in great vintage condition, maintaining the intentional distressing of the frame which adds to its character.
