19th Century French Louis XV Style Caned Bergere with a Painted Finish

About the Item

French Louis XV style beautifully carved bergere with caning from the 19th century. This wonderfully carved bergere has an old but later white and gray painted finish and is glazed with a nice patina. The bergere is carved on all four sides making it a ideal to float in a room or as a desk chair. It is a piece of scuplture.
