19th Century Pair of Empire / Biedermeier Solid Beech Bergeres, New Upholstered

About the Item

The pair of bergeres from the Empire / Biedermeier period was made of solid beech wood. The bergeres are completely reupholstered and covered with new fabric. The seat cushion is loose and can be removed. The closed side panels, typical of bergeres, are decorated with carved dolphin heads and a tail fin. In very good hand polished restored condition.
