Carved French Fruitwood Painted Armchair

About the Item

Carved French fruitwood painted armchair, arms with carved acanthus leaves. The stiles and top rail are carved with spiral edges and have a floral crest. There is carved beadwork surrounding the back. Spiral ribbon carving borders the seat bottom and back, on turned fluted legs.
