Louis XV Style Pair of Walnut Bergeres Chairs
About the Item
A matching pair of elegant and extremely comfortable Louis XV style 'Bergère' armchairs, upholstered in a luxurious woven floral fabric in warm shades of apricot, terracotta and green set against a cream background.
The curving wooden frames are beautifully smooth and aged, and are carved at the crest and on each apron, as well in the form of delightful scrolling on each armrest.
The wide seats are each furnished with a well padded and shaped loose cushion, with additional padding on each arm.
The curved apron and cabriole legs are characteristic of the style and add to the charm of these beautiful armchairs.
