About the Item

This is a charming needlepoint upholstered canape or marquis. The small size of 40.25 wide x 26.75 deep x 32.75 tall and a seat height of 20 inches makes it a wider chair, rather than a settee. The upholstery is original so expect small frays, wear and some minor issues with the upholstery, but it is in overall good condition for its age. The piece dates to the 1890-1900s era.
