18th Century Primitive Swedish Pine Folk Chair

About the Item

Unique, primitive and sculptural Swedish folk armchair hand crafted from pine at the end of 18th century. Crafted in a warm, honey hued pine the chair has a beautiful worn patina that adds to it's charm. It is the prefect primitive piece to add to any interior and fuses two current buzzwords in interiors, Swedish design and primitive design. This is an antique piece with wear consistent with age which adds to the richness of character. It is in excellent condition for its age. The chair feels very smooth with a beautiful beeswax finish. Despite it's age, the chair is stable. The imperfections from age add to the charm of this primitive piece. H63cm x W51cm x D34cm Seat Height 43 cm
