About the Item

These late C18th chairs are a lovely example of Swedish Gustavian style. The oval backrest has decorative cutouts and delicate carving to the top rim and the wood is painted in a typical historic blue-grey colour. Their drop in seats have been upholstered in a pretty blue flower and stripe pattern which compliments the overall look. Their is a little wear but serviceable and easy to change if desired. A pair that would make a special addition to an interior
