About the Item

A nice pair of Swedish painted Gustavian late c18th side chairs. This desirable model have rounded backs with carved flower detail at the top and rosette corner decoration beneath the seat. The paintwork has been scraped back and refreshed with one replacement back leg. Reupholstered in an off white neutral vintage french linen they would work well as side, dining or bedroom chairs.
