A scarcely seen 19th c. spindle back barrel chair with George Hunzinger & Windsor chair influences. Marvelous character in the unusual splayed & carved dolphin heads arms, bent surround, turned spindles, stretchers & legs with mortise & tenon joinery. Enhanced with new custom cushion. Seat: with cushion: 211" H / without cushion: 18".
